Alcala Pet Care strives to give your dog the most comfortable, enjoyable, and playful vacation while you are away. Alcala's unique design offers your dogs more personal attention, interaction with other dogs, and larger areas to run and play.

Dogs and their owners come from all over Southern California for our attention to detail, impeccable cleanliness, world-class grooming, and the most experienced staff in San Diego.

Your dog will enjoy warm meals at Alcala. We prepare a special recipe of chicken, rice, and kibble for our guests.

Your dogs will enjoy three separate areas:

• Individual large runs
• Heated or air-conditioned sleeping rooms
• Large, outdoor play yard

Our unique care gives your dog much more attention than the standard in/out or single room kennel. Please enjoy our photo gallery before you leave.We have included many photographs of our kennel and its guests.

Alcala Pet Care charges by the calendar day. We give your dog a bath the day they go home and only charge for the bath, not the day's boarding. This allows us to make sure every dog goes home cleaner than they come in. This also means there is NO check-out or check-in time. If you do not want your dog to get a bath, we will charge you for the day they go home.

There is an additional charge for dogs with long hair or matted coats.

Baths include: Nail Trimming, Shampoo, Conditioner, full brush out, and ears cleaned if necessary. We use natural, detergent-free Tropiclean Shampoos and Conditioners.

Baths include: Nail Trimming, Shampoo, Conditioner, full brush out, and ears cleaned if necessary. There is an additional charge for dogs with long hair or matted coats. We use all natural Tropiclean Shampoos, Conditioners, and Flea control products.

Vaccinations required for Dog Boarding

RABIES

Must be current, within the last 3 years.

DHLPP

Must have been given within the last year.

BORDATELLA

Good for 6 months, we recommend it being given internasal at least one week before coming in.

Please note: Corona vaccine is no longer required for boarding.

TLC, Special Care, and Play Time

Dogs love to run and play in our secure 1/2 acre Play Pals Park. There's enough room for even groups of greyhounds to stretch their legs. Our TLC playtime sessions give your dog the extra personal attention and playtime that make a vacation one to remember.

Group play is available for the social dogs and individual walks can be reserved for those that prefer to see the area.

Little Buddy Playground

While the big dogs love to stretch their legs in our large park, some of our smaller guests prefer a more intimate surrounding. Alcala has just added a new park, the Little Buddy Playground. This new yard is perfect for the toys and older dogs that prefer hands-on, individual attention. Ask for it today.

TLC (Play Time)

Playtime in our large park is $5.00 each session or $7 for 2X daily. TLC for two dogs (same family) is $7.00 or $9 for 2X daily. Play time lasts for around 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the dogs, and is always supervised.

TLC (Special Care)

Additional charges of $4.00 a day are applicable for medications, special feeding, geriatric dogs, and puppies.
